Bindiya Desai

I belong to a family which excels in traditional art; that encouraged me to pick up art at a young age. I teach Art and life skills in an NGO working with women in distress. I also mentor the young artists. 

I use many different mediums, such as Oil, Watercolor, acrylics and inks. I also do Tanjore Art and Digital Art.

I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.

I enjoy travelling, meeting people and food that inspires me to paint. I love to add spiritual edge to my work.

the ancient tours inspired me to take up Tanjore, an ancient art of India. Moreover, my family and friends are my mainstay.

Have done Exhibitions in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Thane. Did five international online exhibitions.

More than twenty commission accomplished.
